Amy started dancing at the age of 4. She studied various forms of dance including ballet, pointe, jazz, acrobatics, tap, clogging and modern. At the age of 16 she became a teacher at her home town school, Covington School of Dance. She performed various roles in the Nutcracker including Arabian Princess, Spanish Soloist and Snow Queen.
In 2003 she was named Assistant Director to Sweetwater County Performing Arts Guild and helped choreograph the Nutcracker and Coppelia.
She has studied with many teachers and artists including the New England Ballet Conservatory and the San Francisco Ballet. She competed at a young age in tap and clogging. In 2006 she opened her own dance studio and was sad to see it close in 2009 for personal reasons.
She is currently teaching Creative Movement, JBT.
Aside from dancing, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 amazing daughters!
