Growing up in Wisconsin, Christie started dancing at Richard’s School of The Dance in 2002-2008. In 2009 she went to Brigham Young University – Idaho where she continued her dancing career as part of her bachelor’s degree. While at BYU-I she was a teachers aid for World Dance and then became a director for the Collegiate World Dance Team at BYU-I. When Christie Graduated from BYU-I, she and her family moved to Arizona for her husband’s career. While there, she taught dance at the YMCA, coached the Prescott High School POM team, as well as started her own dance company called Leo’s and Tights. Christie ran Leo’s and Tights for 3 years until the Covid-19 outbreak. She continued to do online classes until her and her family decided to move to Rock Springs, WY in 2021. Christie’s dance specialties include, but are not limited to - Cultural Dance, Lyrical/Modern, Jazz, and Clogging.
