Kendra graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine with her Master Degree in Physical Therapy in May of 2001. She is currently a physical therapist (PT), for our local school district with Sweetwater County School District #1. She also enjoys intermittently working in the outpatient and home health physical therapy settings.
Kendra is an Advanced Kids Yoga Teacher, as well as a 200-hour Certified Yoga Instructor. Her PT degree has trained her in the advanced knowledge of the human body, biomechanics and neuroscience. She has also been trained in several mindful activities and strategies to support children and adolescence in the areas of stress, anxiety and overall mental clarity.
Kendra is married to her husband Raymond of 18 years. They have 2 beautiful daughters, Kenidee-12 and Kolbee-8, who both have a love for dance. Her daughters have been dancing at Artistry in Motion since they were 3 years of age. As her girls have continued to grow with their love of dance, Kendra wanted to support the need for a strong core and strength program to further advance their dance education. She is motivated to provide a strong foundation for Artistry In Motion dancers.
Kendra’s class includes work in full body strengthening, neurodevelopmental skill progression, reflex integration, coordination and body awareness movement activities. She works with specific movements that assist with brain development and overall integration techniques, while working on full body strength and conditioning.
When not working with children, family or friends, Kendra loves spending time with her family in the outdoors. She enjoys staying active, traveling and spending time with those that mean the most to her. She thoroughly enjoys watching her children compete in a variety of competitive sports, of course dance included!
Kendra loves being able to work with dancers of all levels to share her knowledge and support individualized personal growth for everyone!
