McKenzie Skiles Eddins was born and raised in Rock Springs, WY. Her dance career began very early in her life. She began dancing at the age of 3 with Lorrie Revelli and Laura Christensen. She trained at various local studios before finding her forever dance home at Artistry in Motion at the age of 10. She trained at Artistry In Motion studying various genres of dance including, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, pointe, lyrical, and ballet. She began competitive dancing her first year with AIM and has continued on ever since. She was a competitive and recreational dancer for many years before she joined the Tiger Rhythm Dance Team from 2013-2017. McKenzie served as co-captain her junior year and captain her senior year. Each year the TRDT placed top 2 in the state. She began assisting many mentors throughout her high school dance career and is now the new coach of the Sparkle Intensive Team and a returning coach of the Blaze Hip Hop Intensive Team.
McKenzie has her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and is also a full time registered nurse at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County. She is currently serving on the front lines as a chemotherapy certified RN.
